Retired StatusThe IAIR Board of Directors approved a retired category for membership effective for 2018 membership dues. To be considered for Retired membership status, a member must complete a retired status certification affirming that he/she is retired and is no longer gainfully employed either directly or indirectly in the regulation or business of insurance, including without limitation, the financial oversight, resolution, liquidation, rehabilitation or supervision of insurance companies.  If approved, the Retired member pays a reduced amount of dues (currently $50), is not required to report IAIR CE credit, and may continue to use the designation after his/her name. As a member of IAIR, the Retired member will continue to receive IAIR publications and communications, and may attend the IAIR events at the member rate for a solo practitioner.
